Dark ruby red in color, on the palate, this medium bodied, very energetic wine features flavors of dark cherry, a bit of mint, underbrush, and a hint of tobacco. Aged entirely in cement tanks instead of oak this superb wine cannot be called Chianti by law but it will put many "name-brand", more expensive, Chiantis to shame.
